Senior Pastor Tim Mckaig

Pastor Tim McKaig has been ministering in churches for 30 years, including four years as a traveling Evangelist.  He came to Shiloh in January 2002 as the church’s first full time pastor and has loved serving the people of Shiloh.

Pastor Tim was born in Logansport, IN and upon completing high school, he attended Manchester College, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology.  He later completed his Masters of Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary.  He was ordained in the South Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church as both a Deacon (1990) and an Elder (1993).  Over a 30 year period, he has pastored five congregations and spent four years as a General Evangelist for the United Methodist Church.

Pastor Tim has always attempted to be outward looking while urging the church to do the same.  He has led short term mission trips to inner-city San Francisco and Oakland, CA, and to rural Mexico.  He was a part of ministry teams to India three times, preaching crusades and teaching in pastor’s schools.  Pastor Tim is very active in the Cass County Ministerial Association (Ecumenical), having served as an officer for more than six years.  He’s organized community food drives, spoken in community services, writes for the local newspaper, and preaches on the local radio station several times per year.

Pastor Tim has been married to the former Annetta Harden for 31 years and has two daughters, Jen Barenie (Troy) and Kate Holcomb (Matt).  His grand-daughters, Livy Rae and Jane Allyn, put a spring in his step!  In his spare time, he golfs, gardens, and reads.

Pastor Tim has a heart for serving the Lord.  His life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 – TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING; IN ALL YOUR WAYS SUBMIT TO HIM AND HE WILL MAKE YOUR PATHS STRAIGHT.  Pastor Tim’s vision for Shiloh is that “we will continue to look for creative ways to connect people to Jesus Christ”.  Pastor Tim can be reached at 574-727-4711 or pastor.tim3773@gmail.com.

Assoc. Pastor Mark Marshall

Pastor Mark comes from a “hands on” back ground.  Ordained by Shiloh in 2009, he and his family served as missionaries in Mexico with Fishers of Men Ministries for just over two years.  He returned to Shiloh in January 2012 as Shiloh’s first associate pastor.

Pastor Mark grew up in Washington, Indiana, attended Hanover College and St Louis Community College where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology (1989).  After working several years in the automotive field Pastor Mark felt the call on his life to full-time ministry and returned to college.  In 2009 he earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Bible and Ministry from Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Pastor Mark’s primary role at Shiloh is leading the youth of the congregation, but he loves to be involved with everyone.  He enjoys ministering in creative ways and encouraging the people of Shiloh to reach out into the community and the world.  He is also involved with Cass County Habitat for Humanity, serving on the board as chaplain and volunteering as labor.  Pastor Mark has traveled to Mexico three times and Tuscaloosa, Alabama once on short term mission trips.

Pastor Mark and his wife, Lucy, have two grown children, Aaron and Joanna. Lucy (Sell) Marshall is a Logansport native, having grown up in rural Cass County. She works at Pioneer Elementary as a Teacher's Aide. They enjoy walking, camping, and relaxing together. Pastor Mark spends his spare time working on home improvement projects or other repairs.

Pastor Mark loves to work with the people of the congregation, especially the youth, helping them discover and follow the plans God has for their lives.  "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" Jeremiah 29:11
